Help me give my students a way to bring computer graphics to life with a Cricut Maker and Cricut EasyPress 2 so that we can use these to add designs to bags to send to the seniors!

My Students

Right now students in BMS are using computers to complete their school work from home. Students are used to coming to school, seeing their friends and teachers every day. For many students, this is the only place they can find sanctuary and relief from home lives stricken by poverty.

Many students are comfortable using computers however, there is a majority of them who find computer work mundane and unexciting.

My Project

Students are struggling with completing work from home, on the computers. This will allow students to use the computer to bring designs to life! They will use the software to design their projects, send them digitally where I can then use the Cricut to apply their designs for various products. We can send the products to the senior graduating class as they prepare for the next chapter of their lives. I can also create videos showing how their design is transferred from a digital copy to a product like it is in the manufacturing world. They can also choose seniors that they know to design products for and we will send them as gifts!

Like 3-D printing, allowing the students to create products that they design gives life to the manufacturing process and opens ups their eyes to many potential career opportunities!
