This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students have one art class in their high school career; I want to make it count! I teach in a public high school in the Bronx with an emphasis on college prep. The use of iPads will enhance my visual arts curriculum and give students a digital edge. By donating to this project, you will help my students with tools to learn the basics of animation, graphic design, and digital art. Hands-on visual arts projects are certainly engaging and very important. However, it's also important to be up to date with the current trends in technology, which will help students be more competitive in the marketplace.
