Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My school district provides a small number of reams of paper per teacher. My students learn best with printed out materials they can annotate on. Our curriculum is new and mainly digital access only.

Teaching in an inner city school is very rewarding and your generous support to my classroom will truly make the difference in the quality of education for my students.

They come from many diverse backgrounds and have difficulty finding colors that match their skin tones. Having access to a variety of colored pencils would mean the world for them and keep their love of art alive. My students have weekly academic goals set by our school. I would love to reward them for their hard work by acquiring interesting crafts.
