Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our class is a group of 22 3rd and 4th grade students who are hardworking, determined, enthusiastic, curious, and creative. In a classroom with both third and fourth grade, we are filled with a wide range of unique learners. As part of our school's vision, being innovative is extremely important to our community. Being innovative allows for students to be curious and ask questions, problem-solve, and work collaboratively and independently. Help our class continue to be innovative, amazing 3rd and 4th graders!

My Project

Classroom technology, such as Google Chromebooks, for our class of 22 students in third and fourth grade would be an amazing tool for our education. As we are a class of third and fourth graders, there is a wide range of learners with individual academic and developmental goals. It is important that students can access education at their own levels. In order to support differentiation within the classroom and ensure that all students have access to an education that supports each individual student, classroom technology would be extremely beneficial.

With classroom technology, I can provide students reading, writing, and math practice at their own levels using programs such as RazKids, NewsELA, and Khan Academy, while also educating students on internet safety, introducing research skills in social studies, and more.

In our classroom, we work hard to be innovative, open and accepting of others, learn from one another, and help support each others’ growth in school. Having classroom technology would be an incredible tool to support these aspects of our classroom and help our 3rd and 4th graders grow.
