This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A real question, posed by a student: Did Shakespeare invent books? Students today really want to read and study Shakespeare, so please let's let them! The Taming of the Shrew is such a relatable tale for teenagers, having to do with responsibility and family.

Our class wants to explore the issues related to family and responsibility through Shakespeare, yet we need the books!

We intend to read, analyze, and even act out portions of the text together as we explore the issues only Shakespeare can keep in our minds and hearts forever. The students are asking for Shakespeare, let's give them Shakespeare books!
