Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Allowing the students to have a dictionary will help them to learn how to alphabetize words and find words they do not know the definition too. Students will be able to look up the definitions to vocabulary words we are learning during the weekly lessons. Dictionaries help students to learn that their are multiple meanings for words.Dictionaries help students to learn how to use guide words and navigate around a dictionary.

Dictionaries help students acquire a broader vocabulary, learn the correct spelling of words, understand pronunciation and improve reading comprehension.

Dictionaries help with vocabulary building, understanding context, pronunciation guidance, critical thinking development, independent learning, and cultural understanding.
