Help me give my students dictionaries that are tailored to their language level. Many of my students don't know how to use a dictionary and having them available in the classroom means they can practice.

My students come from a wide range of backgrounds. They are excited to be at school and to learn! I work with high school students who are learning English on top of the languages they already speak!
My students are eager to learn but don’t always come to school equipped to learn.
They are very hard workers and have amazing ideas. They are from many different countries and all have unique stories to tell. In my class they work on reading, writing, listening, and speaking. I am trying to help them share their stories!
My Project
My students need dictionaries that are tailored to their language level. Currently there are only dictionaries from the 1990s that are hard to read and not easy to use especially for students who are learning the English language.
By providing these dictionaries my students will have the ability to learn how to use a dictionary and feel successful looking for different information about words.
When we read novels in my class I have a list of vocabulary words for students to look up. Many students get frustrated when they use their computer or the old dictionaries that are provided to the class. Getting new dictionaries that are for language learners will help students be successful in school!
