This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The Star Wars deckbuilding game and Dice Throne have been a popular choice for my students. These games are easy to learn and quick to play. Students that know how to play the game can start and finish a game within a single lunch period. These games are commonly checked out during lunch and club time. Over the past year, cards and boards have been damaged. This project would allow students to play with never-been-used cards. The students really seem to enjoy both games. Both games are challenging in strategy while being accessible in the time it takes to play.
