My Project

Probability & Statistics are major standards in Math, and they are hard to teach without manipulative and hands-on activities.

We can use dice, playing cards, marbles, & snap cubes to bring probability to life, instead of just memorizing rules!

Think of rolling a die several times to find the experimental probability of landing on a tail, or using a deck of cards to find the probability of choosing a red heart randomly, or the probability of pulling a red marble from a bag of 20 marbles in different colors! The list goes on and on! These are activities that will cement the abstract concepts of Probability in students' minds.

This project aims to help students engage in meaningful real life scenarios of Probability.
