Help Mrs. Pell

2nd graders are building their reading skills everyday and with your help they will be able to build those essential reading skills through great learning games! I am a second grade teacher at a Reading First/Arizona Reads School. That means that we have 120 minutes of reading time in our day and the students that need extra help get even more time devoted to reading. We have workstations going during reading time to help build their reading skills by using hands on experiences.

We need to keep students motivated and wanting to learn more. With these great reading games the students are not only going to be reading, but they are having a blast doing it!

These games include 6 essential reading skills. They are predicting outcomes, making inferences, story elements, main ideas & details, fact and opinion, and cause and effect.

You will help make it possible for these students to not only build on the skills they need to be successful readers, but you'll be helping them to really have fun while they are learning!
