My Project

Hands on activities are crucial for English Language learners as they develop in the area of reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Students need to have access to materials that provide scaffolds so they can work independently and in groups. Every students I support in grades k-2 is excited to learn the English Language and wants to feel confident. This center will allow students self check their work. The word bank provides the additional support they need. This center will provide support and practice for students to review and focus on adjectives, prepositions, writing an opinion, and making a sentence.

The Social and Emotional Classroom Activity Kit is essential to promote student wellness.

This kit has an emphasis with literacy skills while teaching students about feeling and expressing emotion toward others, building relationships with peers and adults, and making responsible decisions. The photo library will be very beneficial for English Language Learners as they develop expressing their feelings using the English Language. The Grab and Write Social Emotional Prompts will provide opportunities for students to express their feelings with writing.
