This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Microscopes will help my students to better understand the living environment. Having this project fully funded would enrich my students' learning experience and better enable them to practice lab skills relating to microscope work.

Before students observe cells, students will practice using a microscope to observe something they are very familiar with - the letter e.

In an era where college and career readiness is a prominent factor in the teaching and learning process, STEM education is becoming more and more important.

I know that my students will achieve greater learning outcomes, given access to 21st-century tools and content that will encourage them to think deeply about studying health and life science concepts.
