This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As we strive to equip our students with essential life skills, I am seeking your support for a project that will provide hands-on learning opportunities in entrepreneurship and financial literacy.
In our underfunded school, resources are limited, and many students lack access to practical experiences that could shape their futures.
By funding this project, you can help us launch a t-shirt printing business that will empower our students with valuable skills they can carry into adulthood.
Through this project, students will learn vital business concepts such as budgeting, marketing, and teamwork. They will experience firsthand how to manage costs, set prices, and promote their creations. This practical knowledge is invaluable, as it prepares them for future success in any career path they choose.
We will need the following resources:
Heat Press Machine: It will allow students to transfer their designs onto t-shirts, providing hands-on experience in production and craftsmanship.
Adjustable Height Computer Workstation: This workstation will facilitate design work, ensuring that all students can comfortably participate in creating their t-shirt designs.
T-Shirts: We will need a variety of blank t-shirts for students to print their designs on, allowing them to produce a tangible product they can be proud of.
The impact of your support will extend beyond the classroom. Students will build confidence as they see their ideas come to life, developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills along the way. This initiative will empower them to take ownership of their learning and inspire them to think innovatively about their futures.
