Developing Expressive Language For Pre-K Students

Help me give my students a variety of art materials such as stencils, trace & draw projector, draw & shrink kit, stickers, and creative learning materials such as castanets, trucks, and numbered carpet squares.

My Project

Many of my students have speech-language and communication needs. However, they will be excited to use new materials such as trace & draw, draw & shrink kits, trucks, and castanets. When young children are excited, they try to express their feelings using their whole body. They may smile, jump up and down, or even shout! They are willing to try to communicate what they are thinking. My goal is to take that opportunity to help my students develop their expressive language.

My project aims to empower every student and develop language skills to express their feelings, thoughts, and ideas by utilizing a diverse array of art kits, instruments, and other materials.

My prekindergarten students will develop their creative expression through art, music, movement, and language using the materials that I requested. Integrating enjoyable, stimulating materials provides students with limitless opportunities for creative expression.

In addition to the art materials, trucks, castanets, and the fishing game can allow me to ask questions and enrich their expressive language while having fun. This initiative, coupled with the requested materials, will equip me to foster the development of expressive language skills among my prekindergarten students.
