Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my classroom I have students at all levels of the learning for a language.(Spanish 1, Spanish 2 and Heritage students). I know that one of the best ways to improve language acquisition is by reading. To encourage reading it is necessary to have a good library where the readers can choose the reading material they like.

These books will help to begin the creation of the print-reach classroom that I dream to create, and with the classroom library the students will have the opportunity to choose books to read independently at their own grade level, while at the same time will help to nurture their love for reading helping them to grow stronger readers.
