I teach English I and AICE General Paper in Umatilla, Florida for Lake County Public Schools.
Our students come from varying backgrounds with varying degrees of access to materials. Some of our students will be the first generation to graduate high school with the potential to leave high school with college credits and scholastic opportunities for continuing education.
We try to offer all our students the very best of our resources, but some additional help is always beneficial. We also have students with varying needs in the classroom and the desk bands will help students to maintain attention to task in class and still allow them to stim without disruption to the remainder of the class. Having access to tools that help each student be successful is what we offer to students in our classrooms.
If you have a teenager, or know a teenager, you know that organization is a developing skill. So I have included items that will help each student to develop some organizational skills that they will carry for a lifetime. I thank you for your time and consideration of my project.
