This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have amazing students. They may be in the district 75 program, all inclusive special-needs program, but they are highly motivated, intelligent and always looking to grow. Some of the students in my class have autism as well as down syndrome and speech impairments.

Though on paper, we acknowledge my students special needs, but these classifications of needs don't express my students positivity, possibilities and persistence to achieve all possibilities.

My Project

I am a first-year teacher, who is teaching special needs students some with/ compromised immune systems. I'm desperately seeking to get my students proper high-level PPE along with their own individual sensory toys and literacy materials. If there is any way that you can help me I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm sorry I can't write more I'm just a little overwhelmed at the moment.

Again, if there is any way that you could possibly help me I would greatly appreciate it, as I fear and dread the idea of any of my students getting sick during our current pandemic.
