This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students from our PK-12 district, public school do it all, often on the go. As a founding teacher leader currently facilitating a college and career prep course in the upper grades, among the most requested items are iPads.

Students use iPads to show up (and possibly off, just a smidge) in both high stakes interviews and even higher stakes everyday-ness (say, to read their e-texts).

Access to iPads* on a self-selecting basis would allow students to bring their best selves to their work.
