Every Friday, students shop at Paw Mart with the Paw Bucks they have earned throughout the week! Students earn Paw Bucks for many different things. They can earn in for just simply coming to school, completing their bell work, having good behavior, being a good citizen, showing growth on tests, and many other things.

We keep it interesting by changing what we sell each Friday. We are BIG on holidays and thematic units, and we sell Desk Pets to fit the theme or holidays every Friday!

We also teacher a little financial literacy through Paw Mart. Some desk pets cost more than others, depending on the size AND quantities left of certain desk pets. They have to make choices on if they want to save or spend their money each week! Believe me, some kids put A LOT of thought into saving vs. spending!
