Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach in a growing school district full of children from all over the world! Our school district is comprised of over 16,000 children who speak more than 60 different languages. Approximately 700 of those children attend my school, and their different backgrounds make up a great learning environment.

Our school is diverse, constantly growing, and full of eager-to-learn children with so much to offer!

The students that come to me every day are silly, smart and curious about the world around them. They take pride in everything they do and there is nothing quite like experiencing the world through their eyes.

My Project

My students have had a crazy year in the classroom, and they deserve some fun! I have had to pull out all the stops this year in terms of creative classroom management, and I would love to give them a refreshing end-of-the-year surprise!

These prizes and "desk pet" supplies will allow my students to earn fun, engaging end-of-the-year rewards for kindness, respect, and following the rules.

They will have a little habitat that they can decorate. They will be able to earn a little animal and supplies to go with it. They have shown great interest in these little erasers and I would love to turn them into something productive, fun, and engaging for the end of our hybrid-in-person, masked-up year!
