Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting a Cricut Explore Machine and accessories to help make exciting bulletin boards and classroom decorations. Students will feel invited into a personal and colorful space. We can add quotes or wording on the walls of the classroom. In addition, the use of this machine will allow us to make labels to organize our classroom. This is a project that will benefit the school as a whole, as I also am an advisor for the Junior Class and can use this machine to help promote school events and school spirit.

One of the other projects we will use the Cricut for is to put phrases onto the walls, mirrors, and stall doors in the female restrooms; we began this project by adding sticky notes with phrases such as "you are enough" and "today is a good day to have a good day".

We want to create more permanent lettering for these locations. This is part of our PBSIS focus and social-emotional learning goals for the students who use the female or gender neutral restrooms.
