Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach in a Title One, elementary school where most of the students come from low-income families and homes. My students are eager to learn and are excited to achieve many successes this year. I would love to contribute to student learning by rewarding them with yummy snacks.

Incentivizing students will encourage students to be more engaged and also strive to do their very best during classroom discussions and activities.

The storage rack will provide easy storage and for students to easily look through and pick their choice of snack.

These snacks will be used for students who meet their goals, as well as those who go above and beyond in the classroom. I also believe that it will create an even more positive classroom environment and thus, boost attendance to then award students for having perfect attendance. I believe incentivizing students with snacks will result in many high achievements in our classroom!
