My students need 15 games for team building, including Connect 4, Sorry, Jenga, and Pictionary, for those frigid MN days where indoor recess is a must, to create a fun learning environment and of course for learning.

My Students

My students work really hard and I want them to play hard too.

We also have 30 minutes a day in Homeroom where we can come together as a class and have fun and play games. I also want to offer these games during indoor recess. In Minnesota, aka the frozen tundra, we re subjected to many frigid winter days were kids cant go outside and play. Instead they come back to their classrooms and "hang out" or watch a video.

My Project

I would rather that they learn how to win and lose gracefully, have fun playing board games and build common experiences with their classmates than "hanging out" during inside recess. I also would incorporate these games in our Homeroom time as well in to instruction, when possible. I hand picked games that would help problem solve as well as teach vocabulary and math skills.

I hope that these games add why my students view our classroom as a haven; somewhere they want to escape TO.

Students learn many skills from playing games and playing with one another.
