Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are currently in our nonfiction unit and our classroom library is lacking nonfiction texts that will allow my students to read and learn with intensity. The nonfiction reading unit is designed to help students gain the skills necessary to engage in rich discussion on a given topic, finding the main ideas and the important points that go with that main idea, and also, summarizing what has been learned allowing for a deeper understanding of the text.

The donations to this project will help to give my students texts that will push their learning.
