My Project

The chapter books I am requesting will reinforce and enhance our first grade standards and curriculum. I plan to use the books both in whole class and small group settings for our in-depth book club. I teach first grade at a gifted magnet elementary school.

My scholars enthusiastically look forward to the stories and characters that align and enhance our first grade core content and state gifted standards.

These chapter books will give us the chance to apply and discuss the Iconic Prompts of Depth and Complexity as we explore story elements and character development.
