Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I LOVE the eighteen energetic Pre-K scholars I have this school year. My scholars are special individuals for their inventiveness to learn. They are building literacy skills, isolating and blending sounds, and learning new sight words daily. They are also demonstrating creative and wonderful fine motor skills and richness for art. Please help me continue this fundamental journey.

My Project

The At Home Learning Kits will be used daily for whole and small group instruction, and supporting my scholars learning needs. Throughout the instructional day for remote learning, literacy, language and math is most emphasized. The manipulatives and materials funded will be used by my students at home for rote counting, and producing number quantities. The use of the alphabet flash cards will support my scholars in letter recognition and sound knowledge during small groups. The activity calendar will also be a huge help for the scholars and parents to follow daily activities during their asynchronous time.

Scholars will be able to focus on their ability to learn without worrying about certain materials, devices and wifi not being accessible to them.

These materials will heighten my scholars' appreciation for learning and help them become better mathematicians and readers. By donating to our project, you will help my scholars see the enjoyment of learning and the importance of academic achievement. Thank you!
