My Project

I am asking for your help to bring some decodable books to our classroom. Decodable books are texts with phonics skills that students know. This helps them to be able to decode the words, instead of guessing, using context, or pictures.

Boosting their skills with decodable texts helps students gain confidence, practice skills, build their independence, and grow as readers of more complex texts.

My students attend school in an urban setting. We are so lucky that all graduates get to go to college or vocational school. Help my students get on the right track for their future success by helping them master reading NOW!
