My Project

I have created a project to build my classroom library based on the Science Of Reading, which is a research based systematic way to teach reading. The books are decodable, which means they learn a pattern such as how sh comes together to make one sound and then they read a book that has sh words in them. This gives students targeted practice on the skills they are learning instead of trying to sound out and read words they don’t know. I am very excited to be able to have books that match their learning!
