Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

English language learners can benefit from decodable books. These books will be utilize as centers that are aligned to our phonic instruction. Students will have the opportunity to select books from the library that allow them to feel confident when reading. Students will use this during their independent reading time in the classroom and at home. Students will have the opportunity to take a book baggie with books that are decodable.

Decodable readers play an important role in phonic instruction and improve literacy skills.

Please help my English language learners build their confidence and a love for reading with these decodable texts.
