This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are almost at the middle of the school year and I am proud to say that my English language learners have grown so much! As my students learn more English and expand their knowledge, they have become curious and determined learners.
That is why I am asking for decodable books that are full of engaging stories and non fictions books that help them learn about the world around them.
My students love to share what they have read and learned. I hate telling them that a book is above their level. But these decodable books will encourage them to use the strategies they know and feel accomplished when they finish reading them.
These decodable book sets come with a variety of books that focus and target different phonetic skills that students need to master in order to become fluent readers. With your help, my students will be able to become strong and independent readers.
