My Project
I want to provide my Deaf and Hard of Hearing students with as many books as I can! I want them to enjoy reading and not be left behind due to their deafness/hearing loss. I travel to different schools and work one-on-one with students to help them stay at or above grade level. If they are struggling, I guide them as much as I can to strive for the best that they can achieve. As a child myself I didn't have a love of reading until I got to college. I want to change that for my students if they don't have that love of reading yet also.
It can sometimes be boring for students to read in class or the teacher can move too fast, but in my sessions I will build knowledge and help my students grow.
