Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach students with special needs, and they need all the support they can get. Many of my students are visual learners and learn best when things are colorful. The use of colors creates an immediate visual distinction and aids in many aspects of learning and organization.

With your donation, you're helping my students learn more easily through visually engaging, colorful, and interactive materials!

A color printer enables me to create color-coded worksheets, print beautiful imagery, and even show off my students' digital creations by posting printed presentations and photos on the bulletin board. The lamination pouches and dry-erase markers will go towards creating beautiful worksheets that students can use over and over again. The whiteboard easel lets students come up and draw to share their thoughts visually. The colored folders help students stay organized. And finally, the timers help students keep track of time for tasks and breaks in a quiet and visual way.
