Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

The use of color ink will allow teachers and students to have access to their data which provides them with feedback of how they are performing on tests and assessments in Reading and Math.
Having teachers and students able to see their data in color makes all the difference: Students on grade level (green), near but below grade level (yellow), or underperforming (red) will know exactly where they stand.
We as educators will be able to better track and engage in meaningful data chats with students, parents, and administrative data chats.
Each student will have a folder with their name labeled on it. Every week when we do our Math, ELA and Vocabulary Assessments, they will track their progress in a graph chart. We will add data into the graph each week and color code it. This will help students to take the first step in discussing their progress and goals with the teacher for the school year.
In addition, a color coded graph and newsletter will be sent to parents periodically so that they are able to better support their students at home as well.
