My Project

I am in the midst of obtaining a Master's Degree in Restorative Justice. The next step in my path is a thesis on the role that shelter animals can play in building and healing community relations.

I am requesting help with tuition for a graduate course the centers on Data Analysis and Research.

The course will begin in winter 2025.

How will this course affect my teaching? This year I forged a relationship with a local animal shelter. We started bringing in shelter animals once a month in order to help students learn about empathy.

Students demonstrated their understanding by creating bios to help get the animals adopted and they created art pieces, essays and memoirs. My hope is to continue and expand my work in the new school year. The graduate research will enhance my knowledge base and my creative resources. Thank you for your consideration.
