I have an amazing class of creative, critically thinking fourth and fifth graders this year who love thinking outside of the box. I want to give my students the opportunity to learn about and practice coding with Dash, a robot, and all of Dash's accessories!
Exposure to coding and computer science allows young learners to develop executive processing, problem solving, and teamwork skills as well as create technologically-literate citizens.
Not only does coding teach students the 21st century skill of coding, but it also develops soft skills such as communication, collaboration, and perseverance in a fun, exciting way. Using this technology from a young age teaches students skills they will use throughout their entire lives and prepares them for jobs that have not even been invented yet!
