My Project

My 3rd grade students need books about different countries around the world and Dash robots to engage in a cross-curricular learning unit about the various cultures of our school. This cross-curricular project is in connection with the Equity and Excellence for all Initiative, CS4ALL NYC.

Students will research the countries where our students and their families immigrated from.

After researching various countries represented by the families of our school community, students will create a website celebrating each unique culture represented in our school and program robots to highlight key locations within each country to share key learnings about each one.

Integrating reading and robots to learn and celebrate our various cultures will be an impactful and memorable experience for our entire school community.
