My Project

My students have experienced Computer Science virtually by using simulators on the computer. By using the grant-funded Wonder Workshop Dash Coding Robots, students will be able to get a tangible understanding of how programming is used through real-world application. Having the 6 requested Dash robots will have students work in teams. This develops their communication skill and ability to work effectively with others.

Using the Dash robots opens a world of exciting learning opportunities for our students, enabling them to explore the realms of coding, robotics, and STEM education in a hands-on and engaging way.

Through STEM students will apply principles of geometry, physics, and mathematics as they code movement and solve challenges. Creativity and innovation develop and increase because students can design and innovate their own projects using Dash robots from creating obstacle courses to choreographing dances. The hands-on learning with Dash robots is interactive and fun, making it easier to keep students engaged. The immediate feedback from the robots's actions will help sustain student interest and will motivate them to learn more.
