My Project
Your donation will provide BOLD Squad with the duffel bags, tote bags, sports bras, earrings and jerseys needed to participate in Dance Competitions and community events during our 2024-2025 season. The team will use the duffel bags, tote bags, and cosmetic bags to house their costume and make up items for the entire season. They will use the jerseys and earrings to wear for performances and competitions. Without these items, our team won’t be able to keep all of our costumes in good condition or be uniformed for performances and competitions.
BOLD Squad dance team is a co-ed team comprised of 14 members at a Title 1 6th-12th grade charter school.
What makes the members of BOLD Squad special is their work ethic and desire to be the BEST! Most members of our team have no previous dance experience and are EAGER to learn and grow as dancers and performers. We have members with varying abilities, backgrounds, and religious beliefs. But those things don't matter. BOLD Squad is all-inclusive when we are together our collective desire to be the BEST outweighs our differences.
Through dance, each team member will gain confidence, self-esteem, a sense of community and so much more. We are striving to reach our goal of becoming an award winning dance team for the third consecutive season.
