My Project

Your donation will support scholars, allowing them to learn a new language through movement. Many of our scholars are new English language learners eager to express themselves in a new way. Our population is often forgotten about because of their socioeconomic situation(s). I know that a lot of our students would not be able to afford these extra items needed for school because of other financial obligations in their households. A donation of grip socks will help us safely move through our newly constructed state-of-the-art dance room easily.

I want my scholars to achieve academic success through the arts, dance specifically.

Movement is an integral part of the educational arena. The art form of dance can enhance the learning environment to provide a connection to math, literacy, science, and social studies.

Crossing academic studies with movement will provide confidence, continuity, and structure to ensure the safety of a well-rounded scholar and a continued sense of belonging to a community that continues to put its scholars first.
