My Students

What I love the most about my students, are the many talents they possess. This group of wonderful students have been performing for the past few years, throughout the surrounding communities. To hear about a group of middle schoolers performing and being compared to a high school group is pratically unheard of.

Middle schoolers are penalized for being middle schoolers.

People don't attend Middle School performances as much as Elementary or High School events,in most cases. Our students work very hard to build a strong reputation for performing throughout the area based on, Hardwork, and Dedication.

My Project

These instruments will make a very big impact on the students. Anything that is new that the kids are exposed to, make them perform better and take ownership of their craft more serious. To keep with a new look as far as their outfits, their equipment needs to match as well.

"Music brings harmony to the world", is a quote that exemplifies what these kids need that are a part of this group.

Dealing with remote learning, racism, and a world-wide pandemic, playing drums is one of the only outlets these kids have to express themselves musically. This group has generated a huge following within the community as well as throughout the entire state. Having new drums will definitely bolster their confidence, and the level of giving great performances.
