it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Guess what season it is….PROM/Graduation! Our first 8th grade class is graduating! The class of 2023 started their first year of middle school during the covid 19 pandemic. They have weathered the storm therefore preserved thru ALL of the ENDLESS covid 19 protocols with the most extreme being classes in the school building closing and student having to return to outline classes. This caused a great interruption in education but it has not stopped the students from performing to the best of their abilities.
The students come from low-income families, so they are subjected to attend a title one school in their neighborhood.
The students are faced with a lot of challenges, but in despite of it all they have put their best food forward and kept striving. With that said the students deserve a grand send off to high school.
Due to limited funds the school doesn’t have money in the budget to fund a prom in a catering hall. Therefore, the prom will be held in the gymnasium of the school building. Being a student once upon a time “you” know that the gymnasium is a visual eye sore for a prom. Therefore, I am asking for donations in order in purchase decorations in making the gymnasium resemble a “catering hall” with a theme being “HOLLYWOOD”. This will make the students feel spectacular against their prom outfits.
