Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school is a product of and exists to serve the students of various neighborhoods. The school has a very diverse background of students from the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Africa, and other Latin countries. We opened in 2006 as the very first charter school in our district. Our school was founded by a team of local educators who came together with the specific intent to provide the community they served and loved with an excellent educational option. We are an independent public charter school.

My Project

These dance shoes, will be so helpful for our students to truly experience ballroom in the right way. They love dance so much and it will be such an amazing moment when the students know they have shoes to perform better. This will help them in jive, jazz, and latin ballroom dances.

It will help when they have performances in school!

I know the parents will be so proud to see what our talented students can do. This will also benefit future dancing students. They would have so much more ways to dance from tango to jazz group performances! Thank you for giving a donation to our students dance journey they will never forget!
