My Project

These materials will make a tremendous difference in my students lives! As a fifth year teacher, my mission is to make sure that all of my students academic, daily living and sensory needs are met. All of my students have many individualized education program goals which focus on improving their daily living skills and their sensory needs. Items like the broom & dustpan and ice maker will be utilized in our school cafe where students will maximizing their cleaning and food preparation skills. The sensory toys will be utilized for them to regulate themselves after engaging in activities. These items will certainly help them reach their goals. By using the items I will be able to assess any improvements in their areas of need.
