This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
The knife sets that I am requesting will help me instruct my students on how to safely handle the various knives included in the set . Safety in the kitchen is very important. Whether they are cooking at home or preparing to become professional chefs, it is vital that they practice safety first. Before a student learns to cook, safety is the first lesson. Proper handling of knives is essential. Students will learn how to use each of the various knives included in the set and why different knives are used with diverse foods. They will also learn different knife skills.
Students in my classes come from various learning abilities.
Therefore, it is imperative that safety is of the utmost importance.
