This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The Brother ScanNCut machine will be a game-changer for my classroom and Art Club, providing students with the ability to create intricate designs, personalized projects, and professional-quality crafts. In core classes, it will allow us to incorporate creative, hands-on activities, such as making visual aids for presentations, designing custom classroom decorations, and producing unique projects for assignments. In Art Club, it will empower students to explore their artistic potential, creating everything from custom stickers and vinyl decals to paper crafts and intricate cutouts for mixed media art.

This tool will not only make projects more exciting and engaging but also teach students valuable skills in design, precision, and problem-solving.

It will foster collaboration as students work together on creative projects, while also giving them the opportunity to take pride in their individual creations.

Many of my students thrive when they can use their hands and express their ideas visually. The ScanNCut will give them the chance to explore their creativity in ways that weren’t possible before, making learning more memorable and meaningful.
