Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am the Elementary Art Director at ILTW K8, we serve the community by bringing a full curriculum to students who have chosen to be leaders in their neighborhoods. They students come from a diverse background rich in culture and dedication to excellence. They have surpassed the average expectations and are now battling out obstacles brought on by Hurricane Harvey. We are ending the year stronger than ever but we have had to move fast to catch up with the rest of the school programs. They need your assistance to make their art ‘a cut above the rest’.

My Project

The materials will move their work from average showmanship, to an entire different level of artistry. By learning about presentation and having their work professionally labeled they will be able to understand how to make their work above average. Not only using their personalities and skills, but topping everything off with a flair in the hallways to their home decor and all the way to the White House if they at least focus their energies. My goal is to give them the tools that it takes to make their dreams into realities. It might not be today but these actions do shape the students future.
