My Students

My students are just being introduced to new technologies in a brand new class our school started this year. They are LOVING this class! They are excited to come in and get to work and they have a million ideas they’d like to try. I had one of my senior girls tell me she thinks she wants to change her major from psychology to technology just because of this class. She wants me to help her find a good school to go to.

My Project

High school kids buy a lot of t-shirts. They buy them for sports, extracurriculars, clubs, and special events and that can get costly. My technology students have learned to design shirts and want to start making them. This press will be used to help us to start our own little t-shirt making business all while learning the ins and outs of running a business.

The kids will learn a lot about what it takes to be successful in a real-world situation like running a small business.

They will be in charge of designing, producing, purchasing, and selling of the shirts they create. They are hoping to make a little money so that they can fund some of the things on their wish list for our classroom.
