Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our goal is to ignite a love for reading and math in our students and bring families together for a night of fun, learning, and skill-building activities. Curriculum Night will feature engaging stations with book giveaways, hands-on literacy and math activities from each grade level (1st-5th grade) and resources for families to support learning at home.

With our campus being a Title 1 campus, many of our students come from low-income families, and this event will provide them with valuable resources they may not otherwise have access to, including technology at home.

With the use of the tablets, families can continue to access digital resources, explore reading and math educational apps, and discover ways to reinforce literacy skills at home. By integrating technology, we aim to make learning accessible, interactive, and engaging for every student and their families.

To make this event a success, we need your support to provide quality materials, books, math resources, and supplies, for all our students.
