My Project

Social and emotional learning is essential to helping us ALL lead healthy, fulfilling lives. The CASEL competencies address five broad areas: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making.

Unlike teachers, School Counselors are not routinely provided with curriculum or training to teach these important topics.

We often have to research, create, pay for, and download resources on our own. This takes time and energy, especially considering that I work with so many grades. It would be amazing to have grade-specific resource books along with social-emotional workbooks that each student can take ownership of. Please help to make counseling a more personalized experience!
