My Students

Our students are 4-5 years old. Many of our students have not been in a school setting before as this is their first experience with school.

The neighborhood has many vacant homes and there is a lot of poverty in the neighborhood.

This doesn't limit my students as they are quite eager to learn and are incredibly curious about the world.

We have a new principal at my school and he is very eager to build up our school. Unfortunately, we do not have a budget to do so.

My Project

These materials are crucial for my students to participate in the curriculum.

The materials are special because they will help us to facilitate small group instruction and will help our students when they are in centers.

For instance, students will be able to choose a certain clip for their center and locate the center sign around the classroom.

The materials are used for literacy, math, and social-emotional learning skills.

A goal for my students is to use these materials every day to enhance my instruction for the Tools of the Mind curriculum.

A teaching easel is also important for teaching on the rug. This is a great size for the students to write on also.
